About Southcot B & B

Welcome to Southcot built circa 1912, lovingly restored and adapted by present owners.      

Southcot is a Bed and Breakfast with a difference - we can also accommodate up to 10 people, including groups.  Book all 5 rooms as a party of 10 friends/family, etc and have the whole house to yourselves - a break home from home.  Dine out in the evening and let us spoil you in the morning.  We will cook your breakfast using only fresh produce from our local Butchers, Bakers, Greengrocers, and Fishmongers.  All you have to do is relax and enjoy.

Commercial guests, Walkers and Cyclists are all welcome.

To the left is Ludlow Castle one of Ludlow's many attractions and, of course, not only famous for staging the Ludlow Festival each year in June and July, Ludlow Marches Food and Drink Festival in September, but also the Medieval Christmas Fayre.

To the right is The Canon, Castle Square, not only a meeting point where you can book a guided tour of Ludlow to learn it's history, and discover the oldest buildings, but where you will find all the markets held, eg Antique and Flea Market, Festival Craft Market, Local Produce Market, Book and Craft Market to name but a few.

The square is also the stage for the Morris Dancers, Vintage Car Displays, and the centre for everything that's going on.

We are ideally located as a centre for touring Shropshire and the Welsh Borders.  Nearby are the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, many National Trust and English Heritage properties, the Severn Valley Steam Railway and many other attractions.
